Stop “Cop City”

Officially called the “Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.”

will not be on on Ballot

Current status: Double the necessary signatures were turned in September 11, 2023, but the city refused to count them.

The Center opened in April 2025.

Training that sees police work as a form of war will put everyone in greater danger. That includes the police officers themselves.

War practice uses poor reasoning. The idea is that killing human beings is necessary to solve problems. This is not only morally wrong, but inaccurate: violence is short-sighted and dangerous.

Community policing, on the other hand, increases public safety by treating everyone involved as human beings with value. Local programs around the U.S. are proving successful.
