Proposal for Consumer Safety
California health officials only investigate individual complaints, and most of those are privacy violations. They don’t do regular inspections Therefore, a requirement for full inspections as is done in most states may help tremendously in learning health problems for women there. California does have quite a few malpractice suits, and nation-wide problems at Planned Parenthood alone are extensively documented. This is the kind of proposal that’s likely to have widespread public support.
