There was a 2024 petition drive for “The Right to Abortion Initiative.” It didn’t make the ballot because the Arkansas Supreme Court agreed with the Arkansas Secretary of State that the paperwork of petitioners was not in order. Petitioners may regard this as a dry run and make another attempt now that they have more practice. Or they may drop it.
